TRAVELODGE - ELEPHANT & CASTLE, LONDON - REVIEW

"THE BEST TRAVELODGE IN THE UK"

If you're looking for a budget hotel with fantastic views and excellent service in London, UK, then look no further than the budget hotel service Travelodge and their 15-month-old hotel in the Elephant & Castle area of the city. I recently had the pleasure of staying here and can confidently say that it was one of the best Travelodges I've ever stayed in.

I have stayed in over 15 Travelodges in London alone, let alone the many more throughout the UK, however, the recently new Elephant & Castle branch has to be my favourite by far, not only in London, but the whole of the UK, and he is why.

From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff were truly fantastic, going out of their way to be helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. The room was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the hotel, which really put my mind at ease during these times of heightened hygiene concerns.

But the real highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view of London from my hotel room through its floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the city. It was simply stunning, and one of the best views of the city I've ever had from a hotel. It was such a pleasure to wake up to and end my day with.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Elephant & Castle tube station, as well as bus stops just outside the hotel on the main road, making it easy to get around and explore the city. And if you're looking for a quick bite or a drink, the hotel's bar cafe has you covered.

If you are looking for something more than the hotel's bar cafe, then within just a few minutes walk, you have Nandos, Wetherspoons as well as many local takeaways. There is also a Sainsbury's supermarket located just 5 minutes walk away which opens 7:00am till 23:00 six days away, apart from Sundays when it's 11:00am till 17:00pm.

Overall, I highly recommend the Travelodge in Elephant & Castle to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in London. The great location, excellent service, and stunning views make it a true standout among budget hotels in the city.

Last but not least, one thing that did stand out for me during my time staying at the Travelodge in Elephant & Castle, was the customer service. My experience was made even better thanks to the amazing customer service provided by Jasmina, a member of the reception staff.

From the moment I checked in, Jasmina greeted me with a warm smile and was incredibly helpful, answering all of my questions and providing useful information about the local area. Her friendly demeanour and willingness to assist made me feel truly welcomed and at home during my stay.

Throughout my stay, Jasmina continued to provide exceptional customer service, always going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. She made my stay truly memorable, and I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication.

If you're ever in the Elephant & Castle area and need a place to stay, I highly recommend the Travelodge - and be sure to keep an eye out for Jasmina, as she truly is a shining star in the world of customer service.

For me personally, I have to say I believe this Elephant & Castle branch is the best Travelodge in the whole of the UK.

A couple of things I may just need to add regarding the rooms and views.

The views you see in the photos in this article are from a family room. There are two family rooms on each floor of the hotel and there are eleven floors in total. These rooms have amazing panoramic views of the city with its floor to ceiling windows.

I also believe there are double rooms with standard window views as well as double rooms with balconies.
